Project Summary
Fontana is located in Southern California, and its name comes from the Italian word for “fountain” or “water source,” a theme reflected throughout many of the city’s utility box wraps. The project brings together fountain and water imagery, playful illustrations, recreation themes, historic photography, architecture, and natural scenery. Together, the wraps create a varied public art collection that celebrates Fontana’s identity, history, and community life.
